Sourdough Chocolate Chip

Made with sourdough discard and Dutch Process cocoa powder, these chocolate, chocolate chip cookies have a moist, cake-like interior, with a crumbly and crunchy exterior. They are filled with generous amounts of dark chocolate chunks and milk chocolate chips, a hint of espresso powder, and balanced out by the savoriness and slight tang from adding my own sourdough starter discard.

Ingredients: Enriched flour(unbleached hard red wheat flour, enzymes), eggs, sugar, salt, 72% cocoa dark chocolate(chocolate liquor, cane sugar, cocoa butter), milk chocolate(sugar, chocolate,  cocoa butter, milkfat, nonfat milk, soy lecithin, natural flavor), baking powder, baking soda, espresso powder and sourdough discard(wild yeast discard).
