Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookies

A classic with a twist!

By using sourdough discard in our cookie dough, we are able to achieve a savoriness to balance out the sweetness of the rich dark chocolate chunks and milk chocolate chips, a dash of cinnamon and espresso powder for good measure, as well as adding a bit of that sourdough tang to the cookies. It also helps make the cookies extra soft, chewy, and moist.

Ingredients: Enriched flour(unbleached hard red wheat flour, enzymes), salt, egg, butter(milk), dark chocolate(unsweetened chocolate, cane sugar, cocoa butter, milkfat, soy licithin, vanilla extract), milk chocolate(sugar, choclate, cocoa butter, nondlfat milk, milkfat, soy lecithin, natural flavors), ground cinnamon,  espresso powder, sugar, vanilla extract(water, cane alcohol, cane sugar, Madagascar vanilla bean extractives) and sourdough discard(wild yeast culture).
